Steward Health Care Completes Acquisition of Two Hospitals in Pennsylvania
Steward Formally Acquires Easton Hospital and Sharon Regional Health System
Boston, MA – Steward Health Care System (“Steward”) has completed a previously announced acquisition of eight community hospitals formerly affiliated with Community Health Systems (“CHS”), including two hospitals in Pennsylvania. Steward Health Care System’s network now includes 18 community hospitals across Massachusetts, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida. The eight acquired CHS hospitals are:

- Northside Medical Center in Youngstown
- Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren
- Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital in Warren
Pennsylvania
- Sharon Regional Medical Center in Sharon
- Easton Hospital in Easton
Florida
- Wuesthoff Medical Center in Melbourne
- Wuesthoff Medical Center in Rockledge
- Sebastian River Medical Center in Sebastian
